As Ninja Gaiden Black will be coming out shortly, I'm not sure I can recommend this game at full price right now, but if you can find it cheap or used, do yourself a favor and pick it up, you won't be disappointed.

Ninja Gaiden is an action...

Strengths: Graphics are some of the best XBOX has to offer, sound is good, downloadable content over live, and the game is long for an action game.

Weakness: Difficulty and Camera issues.

This game is simply gorgeous. It is probably the most polished game the XBOX has yet to see. Combat is fun, exploring is fun, boss battles are varied, enemies are varied, and the story is alright. Add in the fact that you can download hurricane pack one and two and its like giving a second lease on life for the game.

The potential downfall comes from its difficulty. This is the most unforgiving popular game to newcomers. It is hard, and the first two stages boss battles are extremely hard. Especially the second stage boss battle. Not only is that boss battle hard, but the camera angle is atrocious as well. If you can get past that point the game gets real easy and should be no problem for you.

Give the game 2 stars if you hate difficult games and give the game 5 stars if you love a well polished, long journey, action adventure game with a little difficulty.

The storyline advances the game well and keeps interest in the areas between the action. This does have the ninja action done about as well as it gets, and with different weapons, adds to the enjoyment.

With Xbox Live, there's a downloadable add-on called Hurricane Pack 1, which adds a whole different dimension to the game and adds in even more replay value. Not a reason to get XBox Live, but yet another reason to enjoy having it.

A great action title that is almost perfect, though only marred by a slightly odd camera angle at times. Nothing horrible, but it can be a little annoying at times.

For the XBox owner, it's a must-have, without question, unless someone has a horrible aversion to action games. Well worth every penny.

Weakness: Honestly I cannot think of any except I don't like looking for scarabs which is just an extra thing. Perhaps the save spots could have been placed better in 1 or 2 places but that's just nagging =p

This is probably the best game of the genre I have ever played. Sure the game has great graphics but that's not the only reason why I consider it one of my favorite games of all time. Honestly with most platformers or action games like this I find myself constantly fustrated. However with ninja gaiden I was only fustrated probably like .5% of the time. Fighting enemies requires a progression of skills and strategies that the game eases you into. Some poeple might have trouble at first if they rush in without blocking but I found that the difficulty in the game was at the perfect level. I did not have to restart too many times nor did I have to watch out for annoying pitfalls or do tons of trial and error runs (except for one boss). I enjoyed being able to use various weapons and many different weapons were useful in different situations. On top of all this the gameplay and controls are fluid and after a few hours you'll feel like a ninja D:!!! Well not really but it controls very smoothly. It was also the only game of this type where I enjoyed playing through a second time in order to collect the scarabs I missed and try out the new outfit. It would have been cool if they would have let you control another character through the 2nd time but it's not that big a deal. I strongly recommend this game for anyone who owns an xbox =)

I've played this game for one...

Strengths: great graphic. the splendid arts of sword.

Weakness: sometimes camera wiew was changed to unexpected way.

I've played this game for one weeks. outstanding graphic.
some people say that this game is hard, but I think if you adjust about blocking, it is no longer hard.
Tip: If you are confused about the camera angle, just push the right trigger.
